Course Details
Whether you’re training to teach or simply want a structured deep dive into yoga, this educational and experiential programme balances tradition with a modern, real‑world understanding of bodies, minds and practice. You’ll build the skills to teach confidently — and deepen your own relationship with yoga along the way.
- Teach breath-led, vinyasa-focused hatha with clear methodology and intelligent sequencing
- Break down key asana and teach smart modifications, progressions and safe options for different bodies
- Study functional anatomy, physiology and injury-awareness — plus how to balance strength, mobility and stability
- Practise pranayama and meditation as practical tools (for you and your future students)
- Explore yoga philosophy, Indic culture and subtle body frameworks (chakras, koshas, doshas, gunas)
- Build teaching skills: cueing, assisting, holding space, and practice teaching
- Develop professional foundations: ethics, accessibility, inclusion, and next steps (including the business side of teaching)
By the end, you’ll be able to:
- Confidently teach an open-level vinyasa class with purposeful sequencing
- Support students with clear options and injury-aware teaching

What people say about us
Even during the recent leak issue, the team handled everything so well. They quickly set up a temporary studio that was comfortable, bright, and peaceful, and kept everyone updated throughout. I really appreciate all their hard work managing the move and setting up the previous temporary space at iD. It couldn’t have been easy moving props between locations.
Now the new temporary studio feels amazing, great atmosphere, plenty of natural light, and a calm vibe. It’s clear the team truly cares about creating the best experience for students. Highly recommended!
Iyengar Level 2 with Mirja Nissen
Mirja made me feel welcomed from the very beginning. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring poses and movements with the support of props, under Mirja's guidance. The creative use of props helped me develop balance and strength and release tension in a playful and comfortable way.
Do not be intimidated by the “Level 2” label — I have only attended some Iyengar classes myself, and I believe this class can benefit students of all levels.
Dharma Level 2 with Emi Tull
Being introduced to Emi’s classes was a dream come true.
Emi is such a kind, patient and inspiring teacher. Although this was my first Dharma yoga class, she guided me through an experience that was enjoyable, accessible and deeply nourishing. In just 90 minutes, I learnt so much and felt physically, mentally and spiritually uplifted. I left the class feeling empowered and inspired.
The uplifting energy of Emi’s teaching and her as a person has stayed with me ever since. I feel so grateful to have found such a wonderful yoga teacher and spiritual guide. Om!
I've been to many teachers over the years as my schedule shifts a lot so it's hard to necessarily commit to one specific class. But I've always had a wonderful time and felt nourished and cared for. The instructors of both yoga and pilates classes are super professional and very kind. A few I try to return to whenever I can are Jo, Catherine, Daniela and Imogen (yoga, mostly viniasa), Jummy, Desta and Emily (reformer pilates).
The facilities are great and super convenient (strong hot showers!!). They're always working on improving things, there's been some renovations in the past year but it's usually a small inconvenience that is worth it. Yes there's graffiti on the windows but they're working hard to solve it - as much as possible, it is Shoreditch after all!!
And lastly, the staff and management are always friendly, attentive and incredibly helpful. I feel better just from walking into the space. Couldn't recommend it more
