Equipment Pilates, Gyrotonic® & Pilates in Motion

Prefer a more structured, apparatus-based approach? Book Equipment Pilates for precision, posture and whole-body strength using traditional studio apparatus; choose Gyrotonic® for breath‑led, three‑dimensional movement that supports spinal mobility and coordination. In Ealing, Pilates in Motion includes tailored private sessions, studio small group training—and Reformer Pilates for strength and mobility. If you’re new, managing pain patterns, or returning after injury, start with a private session or Starter Assessment. 



Apparatus options are studio‑specific: Camden (Equipment Pilates + Gyrotonic®) and Ealing (Pilates in Motion + Reformer).

  • Which private session should I choose?

    Private yoga is ideal for personalised guidance, alignment, strength, mobility and stress support. Equipment Pilates is great for posture, core strength and rehabilitation-style precision. Gyrotonic® supports spinal mobility, coordination and breath-led movement. Pilates in Motion suits those who want strong technique and apparatus training—including Reformer Pilates for workout-focused sessions.

  • Where are private sessions available?

    Private yoga is available across all Triyoga studios. Equipment Pilates + Gyrotonic® are offered in Camden. Pilates in Motion (including Reformer Pilates) is offered in Ealing.

  • Do I need a Starter Assessment?

    If a Starter Assessment is listed for your chosen service, it’s the best place to begin. Your teacher will assess posture and movement patterns so your sessions are safe, effective and tailored from day one.

  • What’s the difference between Equipment Pilates and Reformer Pilates?

    Reformer Pilates uses the reformer for a structured, workout-style session. Equipment Pilates is taught in a traditional studio environment using a wider range of apparatus (including the reformer plus other equipment), allowing more individual tailoring—especially helpful for beginners, injury recovery, or specific postural goals.

  • Can I book with a friend?

    Yes. Camden offers semi‑private sessions for two people, plus small-group options. Private yoga can also be requested as a duo or small group.

  • I’m managing an injury / I’m pregnant — what should I do?

    Private sessions are usually the best place to start. Share your needs when you enquire or book so the session can be adapted appropriately. If you’re pregnant, avoid workout-style reformer classes unless specifically advised—choose a private session instead.

  • How do cancellations work for semi‑private sessions?

    Semi‑private sessions are booked in pairs. If one person can’t attend, the session is charged at the private session rate. Please follow the notice period shown at booking.

  • What should I wear and bring?

    Wear comfortable movement clothing and bring water. Grip socks can be helpful for Pilates/reformer. Any required kit and studio guidance will be listed in your booking confirmation.

  • How do I schedule private yoga?

    Purchase your private yoga session first, then use the enquiry form on this page to request your preferred studio, days and times. We’ll confirm availability by email.
